Preston Park Recovery Centre go virtual for this year's Artist Open House event

Art from Preston Park Recovery Centre

The Preston Park Recovery Centre team would have been preparing to launch their annual Artists' Open House at a private preview event for artists and their friends and families today, Tuesday 5th May.

Unfortunately due to the coronavirus (Covid-19) pandemic, their annual art exhibition is unable to go ahead, so the team decided to create a beautiful virtual gallery of the artwork instead.

There are some seriously talented artists who attend the Centre and produce some incredible work and in spite of the very unusual and difficult time we are all experiencing, this year has been no exception. Over 100 pieces of art were submitted by more than 60 clients; a truly phenomenal effort.

This is the sixth year the Centre has produced an Artists’ Open House, usually as part of the Brighton and Hove's Artists' Open House Festival run throughout May. In previous years, it has been a real success with clients saying that displaying their work, often for the first time, increased their sense of self-worth and confidence.

Click on the video below to view the virtual gallery which we hope will brighten your day and inspire you.
